Living, Communicating, Storytelling, and healing through art

A lot of my life has been spent in my room, on the floor, making something. Painting, drawing, composing, lyric writing...these have aways been my outlets for self care. I'm an emotional person, which is something I've grown to be thankful for. It really is a gift to feel things. I've learned that the best placement for these emotions is in my work. It has allowed me to further connect with myself, confront grief, trauma, and sadness, and understand it. By sharing my work I am being vulnerable and saying "This is me", in hopes that it will resonate with someone else. It then becomes much bigger, and more beautiful because it is something we can share as empaths.

I am currently pursuing an Individualized BFA at California College of the Arts, in San Francisco, California. Throughout my time as a student, I have gained experience teaching through means of tutoring, mentoring, and being an assistant in studio at Maude Kerns Art Gallery in Eugene, Oregon. It is with intention to continue on the route of Education, where I will be able to help others on their artistic path.
